About the Gun

The P365 SAS is a micro-compact, striker-fired polymer pistol configured for deep concealment. It uses a ported slide and barrel, flush/low-profile controls, and a flush-mounted FT Bullseye fiber-tritium sight in place of conventional front and rear sights. The slide treatment and control layout are intended to minimize snag points. The frame follows the standard P365 grip module pattern and accepts the same magazines.

Production

Production ran from 2019, through the early-to-mid 2020s.

Market value

MSRP at production was around $550–$600. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $300–$450.

Analysis

SIG introduced the SAS (SIG Anti-Snag) version in 2019 to push the P365 further into the deep-concealment niche. By removing traditional sights, recessing the controls, and adding porting, the design aimed to reduce clothing snags and muzzle rise in a very small package. The unconventional sight system and control layout made it a specialized rather than mainstream variant within the P365 family. Production was relatively limited compared with the standard, XL, and later XMACRO models, and it has since been phased out of SIG’s primary lineup.
