The P229 Select Compact is a special edition compact double-stack model featuring a black Nitron finish on the stainless steel slide and a black hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy frame. It includes a Short Reset Trigger (SRT) with a skinny trigger, squared trigger guard, accessory rail, brown G10 grips, and SIGLITE night sights. It was produced without a beavertail frame extension.
