The P229 Nightmare is a Custom Works compact double-stack model featuring a fully blacked-out appearance with a black Nitron finish on the stainless steel slide and black hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy frame. It includes contrasting nickel-plated controls, an accessory rail, X-RAY3 day/night sights, and Hogue Classic Contour SL G10 grips. It was produced as a limited edition.

MSRP at production was around $1,400 – $1,600. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $1,050 – $1,400.

The P229 Nightmare represents SIG Sauer Custom Works’ modern tactical interpretation of the compact P229 platform.
