About the Gun

The P226 X-Six is a Custom Shop competition model featuring a 6-inch match-grade barrel and full stainless steel slide and frame. It includes fully adjustable target rear sights and checkered wood grips. It was produced in stainless and two-tone configurations.

Analysis

The P226 X-Six was developed as one of SIG Sauer’s longest-barreled competition pistols on the P226 platform, offering maximum sight radius and velocity for target and practical shooting. The 6-inch barrel combined with full stainless steel construction provided excellent stability and recoil control. Available in stainless and two-tone finishes, these models were produced in very limited numbers as part of the Custom Shop / Mastershop program. They represent the most specialized long-slide competition variants of the P226 before the later introduction of the XFIVE series.
