Analysis

The P226 MK25 is the only handgun officially adopted by the U.S. Navy SEALs and remains one of the most recognized variants of the P226 platform. Developed to meet stringent Naval Special Warfare requirements, it incorporates enhanced corrosion resistance and reliability features for maritime environments while maintaining the proven locked-breech short-recoil operating system and DA/SA trigger with decock lever. The MK25 has seen extensive operational use and earned a strong reputation for durability under harsh conditions. It continues in production as a commercial model and remains highly sought after by both collectors and shooters who want a factory pistol with direct military heritage.
