About the Gun

The 1911 Fastback Emperor Scorpion Carry is a Commander-sized single-action 1911-style pistol with a stainless-steel frame and slide finished in Flat Dark Earth PVD. It uses the Fastback rounded grip and mainspring-housing contour and is fitted with dark G10 Piranha-textured grips (typically with an integrated magwell) and SIGLITE night sights. Dark controls, forward cocking serrations, and an optional accessory rail complete the package. Controls follow the classic 1911 layout with a grip safety and manual thumb safety.

Production began in 2016 and is currently ongoing.

Market value

MSRP is around $1,300–$1,430. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $900–$1,200.

Analysis

This model combines the Emperor Scorpion’s distinctive Flat Dark Earth PVD finish and black accents with the Fastback frame profile introduced earlier for improved concealment. The rounded butt reduces printing while retaining full magazine capacity and a full-height grip circumference. It sits in the carry-oriented portion of the Emperor Scorpion lineup, offering the same durable coating, textured G10 grips, and night sights found on the full-size version but in a shorter, more compact package.
