Analysis

The Thunder 40 UC Pro is the compact Pro-series companion to the full-size Thunder 40 Pro in Bersa’s locked-breech line. It applies the Pro upgrades—Picatinny rail, ambidextrous controls, loaded-chamber indicator, polygonal rifling, and improved Petter-Browning locking system—to the shorter Ultra Compact package that had been introduced earlier for the U.S. market. It retains the alloy-frame DA/SA layout and external hammer of the prior Thunder 40 UC but in the modernized Pro configuration intended for carry. The model was offered in matte and duo-tone finishes. Later TPRC models superseded the UC Pro. The Thunder 40 UC Pro is discontinued.
