Analysis

The Thunder 380 Deluxe is a higher-capacity single-stack variant of the Thunder 380 that Bersa offered from the late 1990s through about 2010. It retains the alloy-frame DA/SA blowback layout, slide-mounted decocker, and polymer grips of the standard model while using an extended magazine that increased capacity by one or two rounds and adding an extended slide release. The Deluxe appears to have been a limited catalog option aimed at buyers who wanted slightly more capacity without moving to the later double-stack Thunder 380 Plus. Production ended around 2010 as the standard Thunder 380 and the Plus model continued. The Thunder 380 Deluxe is now a discontinued variant within the Thunder 380 series.
