Analysis

Bersa introduced the Thunder 32 in the mid-1990s as the .32 Auto companion to the Thunder 380 and Thunder 22 in the compact Thunder series. It followed the same alloy-frame DA/SA blowback pattern, with a slide-mounted safety/decocker, fixed sights, and polymer grips. The model was aimed at the civilian market for general use and concealed carry, with a lighter Concealed Carry (CC) variant also offered. Regular production ended around June 2012. Limited batches have been imported to the United States in the mid-2020s, primarily in matte black and nickel, now using 10-round magazines. Parts remain interchangeable with the other compact Thunder models. It occupies a niche in the used market as an affordable, low-recoil .32 Auto DA/SA pistol that has seen only intermittent availability since the original run ended.
