Analysis

The TPR9 (Thunder Pro Redesigned) is the updated full-size 9 mm successor to the Thunder 9 Pro in Bersa’s locked-breech series. It retains the alloy-frame DA/SA layout, external hammer, Picatinny rail, ambidextrous controls, loaded-chamber indicator, and high-capacity double-stack magazine of the earlier Pro while refining the grip shape, trigger, and overall ergonomics. Bersa introduced it in the late 2010s as the current service-style option in the Thunder Pro line. It remains in production alongside the compact TPR9C and the longer-barreled TPR9 XT. The TPR9 is distinct from the Thunder 9 Pro.
