Analysis

The TPR9 X is the threaded-barrel variant of the full-size TPR9 (Thunder Pro Redesigned) in Bersa’s locked-breech series. The TPR line updated the earlier Thunder 9 Pro with refined grip shape, trigger, and ergonomics while retaining the alloy-frame DA/SA layout, external hammer, Picatinny rail, ambidextrous controls, loaded-chamber indicator, and high-capacity double-stack magazine. Bersa introduced the TPR9 series in early 2018 as the current full-size service-style option; the X version adds a 1/2×28 threaded barrel for suppressor use. It remains in production. The TPR9 X is distinct from the standard TPR9, the TPR9 XT, and the compact TPR9C variants.
