Short-barrel single-action six-shot revolver with a bird’s-head grip, a loading gate, and a half-cock that frees the cylinder. Aged Old West finish on the steel, walnut panels, and fixed sights. A hammer block sits in the action.

Analysis

Old West Marshall is the short Stampede in the aged finish, cataloged in .45 Colt with the bird’s-head grip used on the Marshall. The lock is the same transfer-bar single action as the rest of the line. The plow-handle Old West guns are 4.75 and 5.5 inches. This one is the 3.5-inch bird’s-head. The finish is a gray Old West treatment, not the standard blue. The line was gone by 2011. Used guns trade on how even the aging is and whether the bird’s-head panels are still fitted. The color-case Marshall is the same short gun in the other finish.
