Analysis

The nickel Stampede was the bright finish of the original plow-handle gun, cataloged with the blued model from 2003. It uses the same transfer-bar single-action lock and was built in the same plant as the rest of the line. The 2006 price list shows it in .45 Colt and .357 Mag at 4.75, 5.5, and 7.5 inches, priced just above the blued gun. The line was gone by the early 2010s. Intact nickel brings a small premium. Flaking drops it to the blued-gun value range
