Analysis

Beretta introduced Compact Carry 2 at the 2024 SHOT Show as the factory successor to the 2017 Langdon Compact Carry, timed with the PX4’s twentieth year and the full-size G-SD. The Compact envelope and rotating-barrel lockup stayed the same. The new factory spec added a bobbed hammer, a heavier barrel contour, a D hammer spring, carry-style Type G decockers sized between the old stealth levers and the standard Compact levers, an oversized magazine release, and plain orange-front / black-rear sights. A Talon wrap still ships in the box. The first Compact Carry had assembled existing catalog parts onto a Type G Compact. Compact Carry 2 folded in parts Beretta developed with Langdon Tactical after that first run. Langdon Tactical also buys the factory gun and sells its own trigger-job and optic-cut packages; those shop guns are a different product and bring more money than a stock JXC9G15CC2.
