Full-size DA/SA locked-breech pistol with an alloy Vertec-style frame and an open-top steel slide. Textured thin polymer grips. Slide-mounted ambidextrous decock lever. Optics-ready slide, three-slot accessory rail, threaded barrel, and tritium sights. FDE finish.

Analysis

Beretta introduced the M9A4 in 2021 as the optics-ready successor to the M9A3. It keeps the Vertec grip, rail, and threaded barrel and adds an optics-cut slide, tritium sights, and a Type G decocker. It remains in the current catalog.
