Compact striker-fired polymer pistol with a removable steel chassis and interchangeable backstraps. Short grip relative to the Centurion. Accessory rail and a trigger safety. Full-length slide ridges. Steel three-dot sights. No optics cut on this variant.

Analysis

Beretta introduced the APX Compact in 2018 with the Centurion. It is the short-grip gun in the first APX line: same mid-length slide as the Centurion, shorter magazine well. Catalogs listed 9 mm and .40 S&W. Civilian sales ended as the A1 line took over that size class. Used Compact pistols with original magazines and backstraps sit at the top of the value range.
