Compact alloy-frame DA/SA 96 with a shortened stainless slide and a shortened double-stack grip. Slide-mounted safety/decocker, 3-dot sights, and checkered black plastic grips. Inox slide and barrel on a gray anodized frame.

Analysis

Beretta cataloged the Compact Inox with the black 96 Compact L from 2000 through 2003. Blue Book treats both rows as the same short window. The stainless slide and barrel sit on the Compact L frame. The thinner Type M Inox is a different grip. Used boxed examples sit a step above a Bruniton 96 Compact in value.

Excellent carry pistol

Had this gun for close to 13 years several thousand rounds through it and I've never had any problems, and has been reliable and concealable
