Analysis

Beretta introduced the 92XI SAO in 2023 as a cocked-and-locked 92. The frame safety returns the lever to the grip, as on the original 92, but now as an ambidextrous control. The Xtreme-S trigger is single-action only, with DLC internals and a flat face. Factory codes include J92FSR921. The regular two-tone Cerakote gun remains on the current list. The Launch Edition added walnut grips and a brighter frame finish in a short 2023 run of about 1,500 pistols. Later tactical and color SKUs sit on other model pages. Used Launch Edition guns with the original walnut panels sit above a standard polymer example in value.
