Analysis

Beretta showed the 92X Performance with the rest of the 92X family in 2019 as the match gun of the line. Unlike the alloy 92X duty sizes, this one uses a steel Vertec frame, a Brigadier slide, and a frame-mounted safety in place of the slide lever. Factory code J92XR21. The Extreme-S trigger, match takedown lever, sawtooth serrations, and steel guide rod were aimed at Production-division use out of the box. List price at launch was a long step above the alloy 92X pistols. The original Nistan gun remains in the catalog beside later Performance Carry Optic and color-series SKUs. Used boxed examples with both magazines sit at the top of the value range.
