About the Gun

Compact alloy-frame DA/SA 92X with a shortened Vertec-profile grip and a Centurion-length slide. Thin wraparound polymer grips, combat sights with an orange front dot, and a slide-mounted safety/decock lever that converts to decocker-only. Bruniton slide. Early guns were offered with a smooth dust cover or a three-slot rail; later guns add an optics-ready slide.

Production began in 2022 and is currently ongoing.

Market value

MSRP at production was around $900. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $550–$700.

Analysis

Beretta added the Compact to the 92X family in mid-2019 with the Centurion and full-size guns. The short slide sits on a shorter Vertec frame so overall height drops with the magazine. The F slide converts to a G decocker. Launch codes covered a rail-less carry frame and a railed frame; intro list prices sat a step apart. Blue Book closes those two iron-sight rows after 2021. The optics-ready Compact followed in 2022 and remains on Beretta’s 92X list. Used examples with both grip sets and the original magazines sit at the top of their value range.
