Full-size DA/SA 92G with a heavier Brigadier slide, a slide-mounted decock lever, and checkered walnut grips marked with the three stars of the Tennessee flag. Fiber-optic front sight, U-notch rear, and an Elite skeletonized hammer. Bruniton finish. The slide is engraved “est. 1796 The Volunteer State.”

MSRP at production was around $900. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $800–$1,100.

Analysis

Beretta showed the 92G Brigadier Volunteer at SHOT 2019 as a limited run for the second anniversary of the Gallatin, Tennessee plant, which opened in April 2016. Factory code SPEC0647A. About 1,000 were planned. The G slide drops the hammer without putting the pistol on safe, the Brigadier slide is engraved for Tennessee statehood, and the walnut panels carry the three stars of the Tennessee flag. The package also used an oversized magazine release, a match barrel, and the lighter D hammer spring from the Elite line. Serial numbers in the TN prefix series appear on documented guns. The run closed after 2019. Boxed examples with both magazines and the original walnut set sit at the top of the used range; guns that have lost the commemorative grips trade closer to an ordinary 92G Brigadier.
