Analysis

Beretta released the full-size Inox after the 92FS pattern was set, first to law-enforcement accounts around 1990 and then in the commercial catalog. Slide, barrel, and several controls are stainless; the alloy frame is anodized to match. Current factory codes include JS92F500 and JS92F520. Blue Book treated U.S. production as closed after 2012 and open again in 2014; the model remains on Beretta’s site beside the Bruniton 92FS. Early Italian-proofed Inox pistols and the so-called Ghost two-tone slides bring more than late Accokeek or Gallatin guns. Ordinary used examples sit a step above a black 92FS of the same condition.
