Analysis

Beretta built the Centurion by fitting the Compact L slide and barrel to a full-height 92FS frame so the pistol kept duty-length magazines. Overall length matches a Compact L; grip height and magazine well match a 92FS. Blue Book dates the 92F/92FS Centurion from 1992 through 1998. That run ended with the rest of the mid-1990s short-slide catalog, before later Centurion-named 92X and M9A3/M9A4 pistols reused the idea. Used examples sit a step above a Compact L of the same years because full-size magazines are easier to find. Boxed guns with both fifteen-round magazines hold the top of the range.
