Analysis

Beretta introduced the 9000S in 2000 as its first polymer-frame pistol. Type F is the DA/SA gun in that short compact line: exposed hammer and a frame-mounted safety/decocker. It was offered in 9 mm and .40 S&W. The run was short. Catalogs dropped the 9000S by the mid-2000s, and the PX4 took the polymer slot. Used Type F pistols sell quietly. Boxed examples with factory magazines sit at the top of the value range.
