About the Gun

Compact double-stack DA/SA blowback pistol with an alloy frame and an open-top slide. The 80X uses a slim Vertec-style grip, textured polymer panels, a skeletonized hammer, and an adjustable X-Treme S trigger. The slide is optics-ready; the cover plate carries the rear sight. An ambidextrous frame-mounted safety/decock lever and a short Picatinny rail sit on the frame. Fixed white three-dot sights.

MSRP is around $650. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $450–$650.

Analysis

Beretta introduced the 80X in 2023 as a new-production Cheetah. It keeps the 80-series open-slide blowback lockwork and DA/SA fire-control and updates the gun with a Vertec grip, an optics cut, a rail, and a lighter slide. Factory production is Italian and still running. Later Tactical, compensated, and color SKUs sit outside this variant. Used base 80X pistols trade under current street price; boxed guns with both magazines and the optic plate sit at the top of the range.
