About the Gun

Compact double-stack rotating-barrel pistol with an alloy frame and a short stainless slide and barrel. The 8000F Inox is DA/SA: exposed hammer and ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker. The frame is finished to match the stainless upper. Checkered plastic grips and fixed three-dot sights. The barrel is hard-chromed.

Analysis

Beretta added a stainless 8000F at the end of Italian Cougar production. Blue Book treats it as a 2004-only run of the standard 9 mm F gun. The rotating-barrel lockwork and slide safety/decocker are the same as the black 8000F. Earlier Inox D pistols and later Turkish-marked Cougars are separate. Because so few F Inox guns were built, they bring more than a black 8000F when the stainless parts are clean and the original magazines are present.
