About the Gun

Tiny double-action/single-action blowback pocket pistol with an alloy frame and Beretta’s tip-up barrel, now released by a push-button instead of the old side lever. The magazine release sits behind the trigger guard. A skeletonized hammer and trigger, Helica-texture polymer or checkered wood grips, and dovetailed three-dot sights replace the 3032 layout. Current rows include short-barrel kits and longer factory-threaded barrels with taller sights. Finish and grip packages vary by named kit.

Analysis

Beretta ended regular 3032 production in 2023 and showed the 30X at SHOT 2024 as the X-series replacement, in parallel with the 20X Bobcat. The frame is stronger than the alloy 3032 that cracked at the slide rails. The magazine release moved from the left grip to the frame, magazines hold an extra round and do not interchange with 3032 magazines, and the trigger and hammer were skeletonized. Dovetailed sights replace the machined barrel blade. Named kits on this model include In Case Of Emergency, Do It Yourself, Just In Case, and Get Home Bag; threaded barrels and wood grips are kit differences, not separate models. The 3032 Inox, Stainless, Titanium, Tritium, and Covert rows remain separate. Street prices sit well under list.
