About the Gun

Tiny double-action/single-action blowback pocket pistol with an alloy frame and Beretta’s lever-released tip-up barrel. The slide and barrel are stainless. The frame is gray-anodized to match; hammer, trigger, safety, and magazine remain black. Checkered plastic grips, a left-side frame safety, and a magazine release set into the left grip follow the standard Bobcat layout. Sights are a small fixed blade and a notch milled in the slide. Chambering on this variant is .22 LR.

Analysis

Beretta added the Inox Bobcat in 2000 as a stainless-slide companion to the black 21. Only the slide and barrel are stainless; the alloy frame is anodized gray rather than being a full stainless pistol. .22 LR is the only caliber on this row. The lockwork, tip-up lever, and magazine are the same as the black 21. After a catalog pause in the mid-2010s the Inox gun returned with the rest of the 21A line and remains listed beside the later 20X. The black 21 Bobcat and the broader 21A rows are separate models. Used Inox pistols trade a little above tired black examples when the stainless parts are clean; street prices sit well under current list.
