The Revolution 1911 is a Government-size 1911-style single-action pistol built on the Auto-Ordnance GI frame. It has a distressed midnight-blue Cerakote finish, engraved slide and frame, GI-style sights, and engraved solid copper grips.

Analysis

Auto-Ordnance introduced the Revolution 1911 in January 2020 as item 1911BKOC7, a decorated GI-spec Government pistol rather than a new lockwork. The right side of the slide carries a Betsy Ross flag, Founding Father signatures, and a Boston Tea Party scene; the left side has a Gadsden flag, Paul Revere, and the Henry line set before a cannon. Copper grip panels show an eagle with the Declaration of Independence and a Liberty Bell. It remains in the catalog among the brand’s engraved commemorative 1911s. Used examples appear irregularly and sell as decorated shooters, not as a closed limited edition.
