About the Gun

Full-size polymer-frame striker-fired pistol with a non-tilting barrel lockup that sits the bore low in the slide. The grip is an integrated polymer module with an extended beavertail. The slide has front and rear serrations, a dust-cover accessory rail, and an ambidextrous magazine release. Sights are fixed white three-dot.

Production ran from 2012 through 2018.

Market value

MSRP at production was around $900. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $450–$650.

Analysis

Arsenal Firearms introduced the Strike One in 2012 as the first commercial pistol on Nicola Bandini and Dimitry Streshinskiy’s linear lockup, shown at IWA that year and sold as the Strizh in Russia. Early guns were built for a duty-size 9 mm service role, with .40 S&W added to the same polymer frame. Italian production at Gardone supplied most export pistols. U.S. shipments were short-lived and ended around 2018, when the American arm of the company split off and the compact follow-on became a separate brand. Original polymer Strike Ones now turn up as used imports. The lockup itself continued on the Archon Type B.
