About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA TAC Ultra is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol with a full-length Picatinny rail. It has a parkerized steel frame and slide, G10 grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, and a skeletonized hammer and trigger. High-capacity variants use a widened double-stack grip.

Analysis

TAC Ultra replaced the 2011 Tactical name for RIA's railed G10 Government pistol. Single-stack and high-capacity .45 full-size guns share the fiber-optic/adjustable sight set. It is the rail-and-G10 flagship, not the wood-grip TAC Standard or the rail-less Rock Ultra.
