About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA Rock Ultra is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol in Series 70 pattern. It has a parkerized steel frame and slide, G10 grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, and a skeletonized hammer and trigger. It is a heavy, single-stack Government-size 1911.

Analysis

Rock Ultra is the dressed Rock-series 1911: G10 stocks and a fiber-optic/adjustable sight set on the same Series 70 frame as Rock Standard. Full-size, Commander, Officer, and double-stack .45 Auto guns share that recipe. It is not railed; TAC Ultra added the dust-cover rail on a similar control set.
