About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA Rock Ultra high-capacity variant is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol with a widened grip for a double-column magazine. It has G10 grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, and a skeletonized hammer and trigger. It is a heavier, double-stack Government-size 1911.

Analysis

The 10 mm Rock Ultras are full-size double-stack guns with the same G10 and adjustable sights as the .45 Auto high-capacity Ultra. Two weight listings appear for that size class. The caliber is the hunting/duty option in the Rock Ultra line rather than a separate TAC rail gun.

OMFG! The awesomeness of this firearm can only be surpassed by it's AWESONESS! Firing this hand gun feels like cheating on your wife. It stirs the very soul. Anyone use to a .45 or 10mm will fire this 'bullet wand' and it will go RIGHT WHERE YOU AIM IT! It feels like holding... like holding DESTINY. It's a BIG HEAVY GUN! Fire enough .45 and 10mm and 9mm feels like a .22lr and you want to check to see if you actually fired your .22s (at least my Ruger Mark II. 200 rounds and no malfunctions! I will clean it not because its time, but because I love it.
