About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA Rock Standard is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol in Series 70 pattern. It has a parkerized steel frame and slide, black rubber grips, fixed low-profile sights, and a skeletonized hammer and trigger with an over-travel stop. It is a heavy, single-stack Government-size 1911.

Analysis

The 9 mm Rock Standard is the same Series 70 Government pistol as the full-size .45, with parkerized steel, rubber grips, and low-profile sights. Armscor kept it in the Rock catalog beside the .45 FS rather than folding 9 mm only into Ultra or TAC.
