About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA MAP FS is a full-size, double-action/single-action service pistol with a nickel steel-alloy frame and slide. It has snag-free fixed combat sights and an accessory rail. It is a heavy, CZ-75-pattern hammer-fired 9 mm rather than a 1911.

Analysis

The MAP (Military Armscor Pistol) was Armscor’s metal-frame DA/SA 9 mm, a CZ-75-style service pistol sold beside the polymer MAPP. Full-size MAP FS guns were cataloged from 2008 through 2018. They did not remain in later RIA 1911-focused lists. Used examples sell in the inexpensive imported-DA/SA band.
