About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA 5.0E is a full-size, striker-fired 9 mm pistol on the 5.0 chassis. It has a two-piece frame, nylon grip module, fiber-optic front and U-notch rear sights, and an optics-ready slide. It is a lighter, enhanced version of the hammer-fired 5.0 ST rather than a 1911.

Analysis

RIA introduced the 5.0E in 2024 as an enhanced 5.0: DLC Armor Series finish, Night Fision-style sights, and an optics-ready slide. American Rifleman listed MSRP at $1,988. It keeps the 5.0’s low bore axis and Ram Valve System but uses a striker. Production began in 2024 and is ongoing.
