About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA 2011 Tactical VZ Grip is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol with a full-length dust cover and a Picatinny rail. It has VZ Operator II grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, and a skeletonized trigger and hammer. It is a heavy, railed Government-size 1911.

Analysis

This 2011 Tactical with VZ grips was Armscor’s 2011–2014 railed Government pistol before the TAC Ultra name. Fiber-optic and adjustable sights and a skeletonized trigger set it above the GI line. TAC Ultra FS succeeded it. Used .45 guns sell in the mid-$500s.
