About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA 2011 High Capacity Tactical is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol with a widened high-capacity grip, a full-length dust cover, and a Picatinny rail. It has VZ Operator II grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, and a skeletonized trigger and hammer. It is a heavy, railed double-stack 1911.

Analysis

The 9 mm 2011 High Capacity Tactical is the same 2011–2014 railed double-stack pistol as the .45, with VZ Operator II grips and fiber-optic/adjustable sights. After 2014 the catalog name became TAC Ultra FS HC. Current RIA 9 mm double-stack 1911s still occupy this size and role.
