About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA 1911 Tactical II FS is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol on a parkerized steel Government frame. It has VZ Operator II grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger and hammer. It is a heavy, upgraded duty 1911.

Tactical II was RIA’s next step after the first Tactical FS: VZ G10-style grips and fiber-optic/adjustable sights on the Government frame. Armscor listed it from 2013. Related TAC Ultra pistols remain in current catalogs; this Tactical II name is the earlier upgraded full-size. Used prices overlap current TAC Ultra street values.
