About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA 1911 Tactical II FS is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol on a parkerized steel Government frame. It has VZ Operator II grips, a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger and hammer. It is a heavy, upgraded duty 1911.

Analysis

RIA chambered the Tactical II FS in 10 mm as well as .45 Auto from 2013. The 10 mm gun uses the same parkerized Government frame, VZ Operator II grips, and adjustable sight set. Armscor later concentrated 10 mm 1911s in the TAC Ultra line. Used 10 mm examples often sell a little above the .45 Tactical II.
