About the Gun

The Armscor-RIA 1911 Tactical FS is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol on a parkerized steel Government frame. It has smooth walnut grips, snag-free Novak-style sights, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger. It is a heavy, duty-oriented 1911 rather than a GI-sight service pistol.

Analysis

RIA’s early Tactical full-size 1911 added Novak-style sights, an ambidextrous safety, a beavertail, and a skeletonized trigger to the Government frame. Catalog dates run from 2011 until the model was dropped in favor of TAC Ultra. Armscor still makes upgraded 1911s under TAC and Rock names. Used Tactical FS guns sell above GI Standards.

This is a solid, no frills 1911. Finish could be better but for the price I can't complain.
