The Armscor-RIA 1911-A1 FS Stainless is a full-size, single-action 1911-style pistol patterned after the Colt Government Model. It has a stainless-steel frame and slide, checkered walnut grips, and snag-free sights. It is a heavy, single-stack service 1911 in stainless rather than blued steel.

RIA offered a stainless full-size 1911-A1 Standard from 2002 through 2008 alongside the blued gun. Later stainless and nickel 1911s appeared in GI and Rock catalogs under different names. Used stainless early-2000s guns sell a little above blued Armscor Government pistols of the same period.
