The GSG FireFly is a compact DA/SA rimfire pistol in the SIG P-series style, with a zinc-alloy frame and slide, polymer grips, a dust-cover accessory rail, and a slide-mounted ambidextrous safety. It is cataloged with a standard barrel or a longer threaded barrel and in several frame colors.

Analysis

German Sport Guns built the SIG Mosquito as a scaled-down .22 LR P226-style trainer. After SIG stopped the Mosquito in 2015, GSG kept the same blowback pistol in production as the FireFly. American Tactical introduced it in 2016 in black, green, and tan, with a threaded barrel added the next year. Pink, purple, gray, and mint frames followed as catalog colors. The gun remains in production. Used examples are common inexpensive rimfire trainers and do not carry collector premium.
