About the Gun

The AREX Delta Gen.2 is a striker-fired polymer-frame 9 mm pistol offered in three sizes: compact M, mid-size X, and longer-slide L. It has front and rear slide serrations, a flared magazine well, a Picatinny rail, and interchangeable grip inserts. Standard slides use fixed white three-dot sights; optic-ready slides were also cataloged. The Gen.2 grip uses wraparound stippling in place of the first-generation checkering.

Production began in 2021 and is currently ongoing.

MSRP is around $445. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $250–$350.

Analysis

Delta Gen.2 arrived in 2021 after feedback on the 2019 Delta. Arex changed the grip to wraparound stippling, added a flared magazine well, made the slide stop and magazine release fully ambidextrous, and offered optics-ready slides with plate kits. Global Ordnance became the U.S. importer. The M stays close to first-generation size and can use Gen.1 grip frames; the X lengthens the grip, and the L adds a longer slide and barrel. Street prices have often been well below list because of frequent promotions. The pistols do not use Glock-pattern magazines.
