About the Gun

Polymer-frame striker-fired compact pistol in the FXS-9 pattern, with a squared trigger guard and forward finger rest, an accessory rail, and an optics-ready slide. Frame colors include black, OD green, desert tan, and gray.

Analysis

The KOR FX-9 R is the optics-ready variant of the KOR-branded FXS-9 platform. AHSS added an RMSc-footprint slide cut to the squared-guard pistol while keeping the same lockwork, 4340 steel slide and barrel, and CZ-75-pattern magazines as the FXS-9 and the plain KOR FX-9. It sits above the non-optic KOR FX-9 and below the lightened RP and the longer RS variants. The R guns arrived with the rest of the KOR export line and remain in production. U.S. volume is still limited, so used examples are uncommon.
