Analysis

AHSS introduced the FXS-9 in May 2021 as its first 9 mm striker-fired service-size pistol after receiving a Turkish production license the prior year. American Tactical began importing it to the United States in November 2021. It is the slightly longer companion to the rounded-guard AG-9 and adds a squared trigger guard with finger rest, an ambidextrous frame-mounted safety, and interchangeable backstraps. The two models share the same lockwork, 4340 steel slide and barrel, and CZ-75-pattern magazines. Slide assemblies are interchangeable between the FXS-9 and AG-9. Import volume has stayed modest next to larger Turkish makers, so the FXS-9 appears irregularly on the used market. Later KOR-branded variants of the same platform reached additional U.S. importers.
