They recently changed their name to Sccy Industries to avoid confusion with the spirit manufacturer Skyy Vodka. SCCY Industries ceased operations in early 2025, with company assets auctioned off in June 2025. The closure ended production across all models after roughly two decades. The company had faced ongoing challenges common in the budget segment, including market competition and operational costs, leading to the shutdown. Existing warranties were honored where possible through remaining channels, but no new firearms or major support continued after the closure. This marked the end of the CPX and DVG lines.
