Analysis

The FIE Titan II E22 emerged in 1990 as FIE's last-ditch .22 LR adaptation of the Tanfoglio Titan platform, hastily assembled in Florida to evade GCA restrictions before bankruptcy shuttered operations. Operationally, its blowback system shines with standard-velocity ammo for reliable plinking, though the alloy frame shows wear under heavy use and balks at finicky loads. Among current US shooters, it draws mild collector intrigue for its rarity and budget appeal in the saturated .22 market, but practical interest wanes against sleeker modern options like Ruger or Kel-Tec micros.

Great little pistol

Extremely reliable and well-built, compact, fun to shoot. I had one and regret selling it. Happily I did keep a chrome GT-22 which is basically the same gun just a little prettier. Both are now scarcer than hen's teeth.
