About the Gun

The DB30 is a light-weight micro-compact striker-fired semi-automatic pistol. Features include a stainless steel magazine catch and trigger. The slide, barrel and internal parts are all hard-coated to resist corrosion. The slide recoil springs utilize a telescoping recoil design that keeps the springs from being overstressed.

About the Cartridge

Designed by John Browning and introduced by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium, this cartridge has achieved world-wide acceptance and has even been adopted as the standard pistol cartridge by several governments. One reason for the round's success is that it is the largest practical cartridge that can be easily adapted to small automatic pocket pistols. Ballistics fall far short of even the 9mm Luger, but still prove adequate for most self-defense situations. The round has established quite a niche position in this role, often being chosen over more traditional small calibers such as the .25 and .32 Autos.

My uncle had this gun and after he put 200 rounds at the range the gun started acting crazy. Even after cleaning it. He eventually eventually traded the gun off

So close but so far.

Reading the blogs and watching the videos, it appears that this is the gun that everyone wants to love but can’t because it is not reliable. The first rule of self defense weapons is that the weapon must be fail safe. And this gun doesn’t meet that requirement. Note that I have no personal experience with this gun. I would like to know that I am wrong in my conclusion but I don’t want to shell out the bucks to find out that I’m right.
