About the Gun

The CZ 83 is a civilian export of a compact semi-automatic pistol made for the Czechoslovakian military, the vz.82. IT is a classic blow-back design with the slide return spring wrapped around a fixed barrel. It features an ambidextrous frame-mounted safety that locks the slide and sear when engaged, allowing for 'cocked and locked' carry.

About the Cartridge

Initially introduced in Europe, this semi-rimmed centerfire cartridge came to the United States when Colt introduced its 'Pocket Model' semiautomatic pistol. Like the .25 ACP, the .32 ACP is considered by many as too weak to be an effective self-defense round. But it has been an extremely popular caliber, notably by the fact that practically all minor and major manufacturers of autoloading handguns in the world have built millions of small pocket autoloaders in .32 Auto.

Easy to carry and conceal. High capacity compact: 15+1. Weight of the steel makes the recoil light. Use FMJ ammo to ensure adequate penetration potential.
